What is Mercier Therapy?
Mercier Therapy is a physical and external manipulation of the underlying organs in the pelvis. Mercier Therapy is a technique that manually releases organ restrictions in the pelvis. This slow, gentle and site specific technique creates blood flow, movement, and stimulation for optimum wellness.
Who can this benefit?
Mercier Therapy can benefit both women and men. Mercier Therapy will benefit those who experience pelvic pain, scar tissue and adhesions, women who are preparing to conceive and women facing fertility challenges, women recovering from gynecologic surgery, and those who have undergone traumatic birthing experiences. What is the Goal? Our Goal is to serve women of all ages-from teen to those going through menopause-who are searching for a more natural approach to a multitude of pelvic issues.
How Mercier Therapy Works
Mercier Therapy is a customized protocol that requires weekly sessions. The work is rehabilitative in nature and therefore, must be consistent to help restore optimal function within the pelvic musculature, fascia and ligaments. The regime is designed to be completed over a 4-6 week period, as circumstances allow.
Shared Journey Fertility Program (consultation required)
The purpose of this gentle yet effective manipulation of pelvis and pelvic organs is to ensure that her reproductive organs (such as uterus and ovaries) and surrounding structures are free of restrictions and adhesions, and are well nourished with blood flow. These are the keys to the optimal pelvic health and successful conception.
Mercier Therapy builds an ideal foundation for conception naturally, with or without the intention to engage in reproductive technological assistance.
You will receive:
- a series of weekly sessions for 4-6 weeks
- a list of supplements and vitamins (initial supply is included in the cost)
- a full year of cycle monitoring
- and fertility support designed just for the woman wishing to create the ideal physical environment for conception.
Our fertility program can be used as a stand alone regime or in preparation for a more medically assisted cycle such as IUI or IVF. We highly recommend that you prepare your body properly prior to starting any medically assisted fertility cycle to help ensure a successful first cycle.
